Will was interrogated by the police about the murder of his father, Laurean Ohdie, as he lived next to the murder scene and also because now that Laurean was dead the jewelry shop belonged to him. He said that his father hated him and saw no reason for him leaving his most precious belonging for him. He mentioned Valentina and Mindy's accident too. Later, he got angry because the police knew that Laurean's businesses were illegal and they were doing nothing. He was shown to not like his father at all but he was innocent for the murder as the killer had been Wade Naff, a private detective.
The next day, the team went to help Will to find some of his designs for his micro-laser engraving project. The designs were similar to some of Laurean but he was already dead and was in fact his own father so they left it as it was and let Will take care of his job himself.

The victim in this case was Yale Williams, the president of Green Year Parade's jury. As Will was one of the other members of the jury, he became one of the candidates to be the next president. However, Carlton Klovan won and Will lost his chance.
