Sawed is the thirteenth case of Alex48 inAutumn Town in Silverbarrow.
Case Summary[]
Previously, the team received a cooler box containing an arm and a note from Hypno saying that he himself done it. The team had the arm checked by Scott to identify the victim.
They found out that the victim was Wesley Herrington, a journalist. They also found out that the reporter knew who Hypno was, and Hypno himself killed him. The team also suspected that he was tortured before being killed.
The team found where the reporter's body was hidden, the Autumn Castle. They found the mutilated body and a bloody jigsaw[1], with some other tools. They brought the body and jigsaw to Scott and Chelsea, respectively. Scott and Chelsea told the team that Wesley was totally mutilated by several power tools, and the jigsaw ended his life.
It soon turned out that Sparen Halperin was the killer. Sparen looked different when he confessed, but he did not say anything at all when he was questioned of his motive. But the team brought him to court anyway. The Judge sentenced him to life in jail for his doings.
The team discussed the difference of Sparen's appearance, and they realized that he was also hypnotized. The team talked to him, in his original state. Sparen said that he was knocked out and woke up in prison. He also said that he was knocked out in their office. The team investigated the place, and found a bloody note. The noted was last one from Hypno, because it was a suicide note. The team reported this to the Chief, and was glad of it. He announced the start of the monthly circus tomorrow.
