João Sepulveda is the Anatomical Expert of the SSS. He is one of the four founding members, alongside the couple and his colleague Susanne van der Wiel.

João Sepulveda is the 31-year old, colleague of Susanne and Anatomical Expert of the SSS. João has a broad, bodybuilder-like build, and has brown sets of eyes. He has short brown hair and a light goatee. João was first seen donning a blood-stained white lab coat over a beige shirt and red sweater with two breast pockets. He also dons a white watch, an access badge over his right breast, black trousers and shoes, and a silver pocket watch chained to his pants.

João is a charismatic man who is praised by his fellow colleagues for 'always taking care of the problem'. His broad build and personality makes him a real ladies' man, which is why Mark sometimes asks for tips from him about strengthening his bonds with his long-time crush.
Altough he has a charismatic background, João can be very sadistic and psychopathic at times. João, like Susanne, loves sadistical murders, especially mutilations, prompting him to finish his analyzing faster when involving gruesome homicides. João is also a relentless fighter when protecting his friends, and had been apprehended twice for dealing critical injuries to criminals.
